Attorney Profiles

John Leonard is a Suffolk County native. After attending the University of Buffalo and Empire College, he graduated magna cum laude from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College in 2001. He is admitted to practice in New York State Courts as well as the Federal Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Leonard is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association. Mr. Leonard served as a law clerk for a prominent New York insurance coverage law firm while in law school then upon graduation practiced as an insurance coverage attorney as well as a defense attorney handling a wide variety of civil litigations cases. Prior to teaming up with Anthony Parlatore, Mr. Leonard worked as a sales and training associate for the leading legal publisher in the world. In this role, he advised the corporate legal departments and general counsels of Long Island’s largest corporations and honed his skills as an expert in legal research. Mr. Leonard lives in Mount Sinai with his wife and three children and is a Board member of North Shore Little League, the Mount Sinai Heritage Trust and the Mount Sinai Civic association. He also volunteers his time as a coach in various local youth sports.
